My players found a Nautiloid, badly injured, crashed into the canopy of a jungle. They got rid of the Mindflayers, cleaned it out and made a new, space-faring friend! Today they had their first taste of the Astral Plane…
To those asking: We’re playing 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Originally, I put a crashed Nautiloid in the jungle as a sort of Spelljammer easter egg in one of my rolling tables. When the players found it and cleared out the creeps, they wanted to try and heal the thing!
